Nigerians have expressed their thoughts on the performance of Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen in Tuesday’s 2022 World Cup qualifier against Cape Verde at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos.
Recall that Nigeria were held to a 1-1 draw by Cape Verde, a result which saw the Super Eagles qualify to the final knockout stages of the qualifier.
However, during the game, football fans that storm the stadium chanted Osimhen’s name to the high heaven each time he’s with the ball.
His wonderful performance was well rewarded with a goal in the early minute of the game before the Cape Verdian leveled parity few minutes later.
Despite the draw, Osimhen’s display has generated different reviews from footballs on social media as they described him as the next Yekini.
