Nigerian international Victor Osimhen scored two goals for Galatasaray, leading the team to a 3-2 victory over Tottenham Hotspur in the Europa League.

The match saw a lively first half, with Yunus Akgun opening the scoring for the hosts in the 6th minute with a stunning goal.

Tottenham responded with a quick equalizer, as teenage striker Will Lankshear netted his first goal for the club, finishing off a pass from Brennan Johnson.

However, Tottenham’s hopes were dashed as Osimhen took control.

After a string of defensive mistakes, the Nigerian international scored two goals in quick succession, one in the 32nd minute after a mistake by Spurs’ Radu Dragusin, and another shortly after following a precise cross from Dries Mertens.

By halftime, Galatasaray had a commanding 3-1 lead.

In the second half, Tottenham struggled to break down Galatasaray’s defense, despite several brilliant saves from goalkeeper Fraser Forster.

Lankshear’s hopes of contributing further were dashed when he was sent off for a second yellow card after a reckless challenge.

Despite being down to 10 men, Spurs mounted a late comeback as Dominic Solanke scored to reduce the deficit, but it wasn’t enough.

Galatasaray held on for a 3-2 win, with Spurs unable to find an equalizer, marking the end of their unbeaten run in the competition.
