Tottenham secured a 3-0 win over Qarabağ in their opening UEFA Europa League match, despite being reduced to 10 men early on.

Radu Drăgușin received a straight red card in the 7th minute for a last-man foul on Juninho, forcing manager Ange Postecoglou to reshuffle.

He substituted Lucas Bergvall for Destiny Udogie in the 12th minute, and moments later, Spurs took the lead.

Brennan Johnson capitalized on a Qarabağ turnover, finishing cleanly from 12 yards.

Qarabağ missed a crucial chance just before halftime when Juninho squandered an easy shot from close range.

Spurs made them pay early in the second half, as Pape Matar Sarr doubled the lead by slotting home from a deflected corner.

Qarabağ were given a lifeline when Yves Bissouma conceded a penalty, but Juninho sent his spot-kick sailing over the bar, killing their momentum.

Dominic Solanke sealed the win for Spurs in the 68th minute, tapping in a rebound after Heung-min Son’s shot was parried by the goalkeeper.

Guglielmo Vicario made some key saves to preserve the clean sheet, and Spurs comfortably saw out the match.
