West Ham’s sporting director, Mark Noble, has expressed his lack of concern regarding Liverpool’s interest in Jarrod Bowen.

Bowen, who joined the Hammers in 2020, has been instrumental in the club’s recent successes and was recently rewarded with a long-term contract that extends until 2030.

His impressive performances have caught the attention of several Premier League clubs, including Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool.

Prior to Liverpool’s dominant display against West Ham in the EFL Cup, Klopp named Bowen as his current “favorite player” outside of his own squad.

This declaration from Klopp further fueled speculation about Liverpool’s potential pursuit of the forward.

However, Noble remains confident that Bowen’s new contract will deter any official approach from Liverpool in the upcoming January transfer window.

Speaking about Klopp’s admiration for Bowen, Noble acknowledged the Liverpool manager’s interest but emphasized that he is not worried.

“To be honest, it didn’t worry me because he’s just signed a new long-term deal with us a month ago,” Noble stated during an interview with TNT Sports.

He added that Klopp and Liverpool have always been admirers of Bowen’s abilities, given their similar playing styles.

When asked about the presence of a buyout clause in Bowen’s contract, Noble chose to keep the details confidential, playfully responding, “I am not telling you!”

He emphasized the importance of Bowen’s contribution to the team, describing him as the catalyst for attracting other talented players and shaping West Ham’s style of play.

Since joining West Ham, Bowen has made 179 appearances across all competitions, scoring 52 goals.

In the current Premier League season, he has already netted 10 goals from 16 appearances.

Bowen’s impact was particularly evident when he scored the decisive 90th-minute winner in the Europa Conference League final against Fiorentina, securing the trophy for West Ham in June.

Overall, Noble’s dismissal of Liverpool’s interest in Bowen reflects West Ham’s determination to retain their key players and continue their upward trajectory in the Premier League.
