Moses Simon relishes his match winning goal against Lens

Super Eagles winger, Moses Simon is delighted with his match winning goal for his Nantes’ side against Lens on Friday.

The 26-year old Simon scored The Canaries’ last minute goal which sealed a comeback win for Antoine Kombouaré’s men.

David Costa (7’) and Arnaud Kalimuendo (14’) put the visitors ahead early on, but Randal Kolo Muani scored Nantes early in the second half, before Simon sealed the victory for Nantes with a fine solo goal in the added minute.

The goal meanwhile, has been described as a goal of the season contender in the French topflight league.

Reacting to the result, Simon describes as a great result for his team:

“Great game, great atmosphere, and great team spirit. Well deserved victory to the team. unto the next one Glory be to God.”

The victory moved the Canaries to the top half of the table.
