Manchester United has announced that winger Jadon Sancho will be training separately from the rest of the first-team squad.
This decision comes after Sancho expressed his dissatisfaction with manager Erik ten Hag’s treatment of him on social media.
Sancho accused the Dutch coach of making him a “scapegoat” and dropping him from the match-day squad for their recent defeat against Arsenal.
The club has stated that the matter is now being treated as a disciplinary issue and Sancho will undergo a personal training program until it is resolved.
Meanwhile, defender Harry Maguire, who has also faced criticism recently, may still be involved in the upcoming match against Brighton.
Maguire’s mother, Zoe Maguire-Wilkinson, has spoken out against the negative and abusive comments directed towards her son, stating that it is unacceptable and should not be tolerated in any walk of life.
