Nigeria goalkeeper Maduka Okoye is thrilled to join Watford and is looking forward to playing in the English Premier League .
The London club announced the signing of Okoye from Eredivisie outfit Sparta Rotterdam for an undisclosed fee on Monday.
The 23-year-old penned a five-and-a-half-year contract with the Hornets , which will start from January 1, 2022.
The goalie will however spent the rest of the campaign at Sparta Rotterdam before moving to the Vicarage Road next summer.

Okoye linked up with Sparta Rotterdam in 2020 after severing ties with German club Fortuna Dusseldorf.
He has been capped 13 times at the international level by Nigeria.
