Livingston’s Obileye Makes Scottish Premiership Team Of The Week

Livingston centre back Ayo Obileye has been named in Scottish Premiership Team of the week after his outstanding display against Ross County.

The former Nigeria U23 invitee headed in a brilliant delivery from James Penrice at the back post to score a last gasp equalizer for the Lions with a minute to go.

The team of the week is dominated by Motherwell who have five players followed by Rangers with three, while Livingston, Ross County and Hearts Of Midlothian have one representative each.

Obileye who is rated 7.69 in the game against Ross County, had a game high of 72 touches of the ball over the course of ninety minutes with 59 passes, two shots and four aerial duels won.

He made six clearances and two blocks in defence and didn’t give away any foul in the game against their opponent.

The 27 year old who was named man of the match against Dundee United on December 11, after scoring the winning goal deserves his inclusion in the Scottish Premiership Team of the Week.
