Leicester City vs. Tottenham Hotspurs: How Spurs could line-up against the Foxes

Tottenham will take the trip to face Leicester City in EPL on Thursday as the season continues to unfold in earnest.

The visitors still have a number of COVID-19 issues to deal with ahead of the trip to Leicester City. The Lily Whites have seen some of their game shifted to a new date due to the pandemic.

Bryan Gil, Emerson Royal, Oliver Skipp, Dane Scarlett, Heung-Min Son and Lucas Moura have all tested positive.

Tottenham boss Antonio Conte also has Cristian Romero’s injury to deal with, but Sergio Regulion is expected to shake off a knock sustained in their 3-0 triumph over new boys Norwich City.

Conte will still have the complement of his first choice defence present for this match. Hugo Lloris, Eric Dier, Ben Davies and Davinson Sanchez are also supposed to feature for Spurs.

Japhet Tanganga is likely to start on the right-back since Emerson is a doubt, while Regulion will play on the left-back provided he recovers from his slight injury.

Harry Winks could start alongside Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg if Skipp does not make it. And it means that Tanguy Ndombele and the returning Giovani Lo Celso could be on the bench.

Dele Alli, Steven Bergwijn may both be handed a place in the final third while Harry Kane would aim to improve his tally as the teams’ Number 9 for this match.

Tottenham Hotspurs Starting (Possible) Line-Up

Hugo Lloris; Davinson Sanchez, Eric Dier, Ben Davies; Japhet Tanganga, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Harry Winks; Sergio Regulion; Dele Alli, Steven Bergwijn; Harry Kane.
