Barcelona president Joan Laporta has reportedly met with football’s super agent, Mino Raiola, amid rumors linking the Catalan club with United’s Paul Pogba and Dortmund’s Erling Haaland.
With Pogba’s contract at United in his final year and Haaland release clause said to be around £64million, quite a number of Europe’s big clubs are lurking around to snap them up next summer.
With Barcelona currently going through financial difficulties, that doesn’t stop the club been linked with a summer swoop for the duo.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, he claimed that Laporta met with Raiola in Italy to discuss transfer targets.
He tweeted: ‘Barcelona president Joan Laporta had a meeting with Mino Raiola in Torino today. Laporta’s in Italy because of Pedri’s Golden Boy and he met with Raiola in a famous hotel.
It was reported that the meeting had already been planned since last week, and it involves Laporta, Mateu Alemany and Raiola.
Mino Raiola had before now named Premier League clubs as the potential next destination for Haaland, however, with the agent meeting with Barcelona’s president in Italy it is not cast in gold that the duo will join Barcelona in the summer.
