Romelu Lukaku re-joined Inter Milan for a season-long loan only one year after his club-record £97.5m move to Chelsea.
And now, according to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Belgium striker has no plans to return to Stamford Bridge after his loan spell ends with the Serie A side.
Lukaku fell out with former manager Thomas Tuchel after scoring just eight Premier League goals in 2021/2022.
It had been expected that the 29-year-old could get a fresh chance with the Blues after Graham Potter replaced Tuchel.
However, it is now understood that Lukaku still does not want a return to Chelsea.
Inter don’t have a purchase option and will look to loan Lukaku once again for the 2023/2024 season.
