Super Eagles forward Odion Ighalo is not perturbed by the competition presented by Portuguese soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo for Saudi Arabia’s coveted Golden Boot award.
Ighalo has assembled an impressive scoring record since joining Al Hilal in January 2022, currently sitting third with eight goals, just ahead of Real Madrid superstar Ronaldo who only makes his debut in the Saudi Arabian Professional League this season.
“Ronaldo is the best,” expressed Ighalo to OmaSportsTV. “I have much respect and admiration for him. He will certainly contribute goals to his team.”
Although Ighalo acknowledges the talent of Ronaldo, he is determined to take care of his own business on the pitch and let’s see what happens when all is said and done at the end of the campaign.
