This Monday, the Golden Eaglets of Nigeria will open their camp in Abuja for their 2023 U-17 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) aspirations.
Coach Nduka Ugbade has invited 48 players to take part in the training, with a majority of them having won the WAFU B U-17 tournament last year against Cote d’Ivoire by a 2-1 score line.
The tournament itself will be hosted by Algeria from April 8th – 30th, with the semi-finalists qualifying to attend the FIFA World Cup that is taking place in Peru from which runs between November 10th and December 2nd.
