Akwa United centerback, Samson Gbadebo, has expressed delight following his invitation to the NPFL All Stars team that will take part in the Budweiser Game of Kings which features Spanish La Liga great, Roberto Carlos as well as EPL icon, John Terry.
The energetic defender who has been on an impressive form for the NPFL Champions is part of the players called up for the event.
The former Rivers United man is very happy with the chance offered him by the technical crew of the NPFL All-Stars.
While fielding questions from the media on Friday, Gbadebo said: “I think it was an honour in the first place to be given the platform ahead of several other players in Nigeria,” he told the Media.
“What it means is that my work is being assessed and I have to keep the same mental psyche going forward since there are several other defenders there yearning for such platform.
