Gabriel Jesus shared a promising injury update with Arsenal supporters as he took a big step toward making a comeback.
Less than two months after undergoing knee surgery, the Brazilian star returned to the pitch and posted the photo on Instagram with the caption “after eight weeks” followed by a praying-hands emoji.
Initially, doctors estimated that his recovery would take around three months, however, no public date has been set for his return yet.
Furthermore, Jesus hinted to UFC champion Khabib Nurmagomdeov that he will be back in four to five weeks.
Meanwhile, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta suggested that his player will be out for longer than expected and stated that Jesus is willing to push himself as hard as possible in hopes of being fit soon.
