French club OGC Nice seals loan move of Nigerian forward Terem Moffi from Lorient

French club OGC Nice have secured the loan signing of Nigerian forward Terem Moffi from Lorient.
The 23-year-old has joined the Riviera side on a six-month deal, with a mandatory purchase option included in the contract.
It is reported that Moffi rejected a move to Ligue 1 rivals Olympic Marseille in favour of joining Nice due to his and the clubs’ determination.
His previous club, KV Kortrijk, whom he joined in 2020 for €8 million, will hope to benefit from increased interest in the player due to his successful spell at Lorient which saw him score 35 goals in 90 games, including 12 this season alone.
