Federico Chiesa Set for Liverpool Debut in Champions League Clash Against AC Milan

Here Is The Easy Money-Making Trick Everyone Is Talking About! Learn More Here!

Liverpool manager Arne Slot has confirmed that new signing Federico Chiesa is in contention to make his debut against AC Milan in their upcoming Champions League clash.

Chiesa, who joined from Juventus for £10 million, was not fit enough to feature in Liverpool’s weekend defeat to Nottingham Forest and missed Italy’s international break, but has traveled with the team to Milan.

Slot stated that while the 26-year-old isn’t ready to start, he could come off the bench if needed.

“Chiesa brings quality and work rate, but it’s too early for him to start,” Slot explained, adding that he hopes to give the winger some minutes in future matches.

Liverpool started their season strongly with three wins but suffered a surprise 1-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest, marking Slot’s first loss in 30 matches, a run stretching back to his time managing Feyenoord.

Moving forward, Slot hinted at potential squad rotation but emphasized that the team’s performance, not fatigue, was the main issue in the weekend loss.

He remains confident in addressing the problems ahead of the Milan match.

Liverpool will now look to bounce back in their Champions League opener.
