Extended medical checks stall Victor Boniface Milan move

Victor Boniface’s move to AC Milan faces delays as the club orders marathon medical checks due to his history of ACL and muscle injuries

Victor Boniface’s proposed transfer to AC Milan has hit a pause after the Nigerian striker underwent an unusually long round of medical tests – www.isagoal.com reports.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan insisted on extended examinations because of Boniface’s history with two anterior cruciate ligament surgeries and recurring muscle problems.

The 24-year-old arrived in Milan on Friday expecting a routine process, starting with checks at the Madonnina clinic before heading to the Centro Ambrosiano.

Things changed when the club directed him to the Galeazzi Hospital for deeper evaluations, signaling their desire to be absolutely certain about his condition.

Milan even recalled their trusted orthopedist from vacation to personally supervise the tests.

The procedures began in the afternoon and stretched into the evening, ending around 8:30 p.m. after more than five hours.

Transfer insider Matteo Moretto revealed that doubts remain inside the club, with Milan determined to be “100% sure from a physical standpoint” before signing him.

Further medicals were scheduled for Saturday morning, leaving both Boniface and Milan supporters in suspense.

The delay has pushed back his contract signing and official unveiling, but Milan’s caution underlines their commitment to minimizing risks on major transfers.
