Everton Keen On January Move For Dynamo Kiev Star Vitaliy Mykolenko

English Premier League side Everton have shown their interest in signing Dynamo Kiev and Ukraine defender Vitaliy Mykolenko.

The 22 year old has continue to prove to the footballing world that his a brilliant defender, following his commendable display at the Euros against England.

With Lucas Digne dropped to the bench for the Toffees in recent games against Arsenal and Crystal Palace, it is believed that Benitez his scouting for a new left back the Ukrainian his highly favored at Everton for a potential move in January.

When Benitez was asked about Mykolenko during his press conference, the Spaniard didn’t talk about their chances of getting the Dynamo Kiev defender in January.

However, he said he would have grater control of transfers and was hoping to recruit more players in January, following the exit of director of football Marcel Brands earlier this month.

Benitez only spent £1.7m in the summer to signed Demarai Gray from Bayer Leverkusen, while the duo of Asmir Begovic and Andros Townsend joined for free due to financial fair play regulations.

While Everton are still suffering for absence of their players through injury and illness, Benitez would hope the January move for Mykolenko goes through.
