Victor Moses helped Spartak Moscow overcome a Napoli test on Thursday after providing an assist in his side’s 2-1 win over a Osomhen-less Napoli side.
It was Moses’ fourth assist in five games in this season’s Europa League for Spartak, and the win have brighten their qualification chances for the knockout round.
Sobolev had given Spartak the lead from the penalty spot in the third minute as within two minutes Stanislav Lobotka had clumsily brought down Quincy Promes just inside the box.
The former Chelsea winger assisted Spartak’s second goal, when he provided a sumptuous cross to the head of Aleksandr Sobolev to make it 2-nil after twenty-nine minutes.
The win has lifted Spartak Moscow to the summit of the Group C with seven points after five matches played, same points as second-placed Naples.
