Etebo Arrives Greece to seal transfer to Aris Thessaloniki FC

Super Eagles midfielder, Oghenekaro Etebo has laned in Greece to seal his transfer to Aris Thessaloniki FC.

The 26-year-old signed a contract with the Greek Super League outfit before the end of the summer transfer window in the European country.

Etebo, however, unable to link up with his new club as a result of a visa delay.

Aris announced the combative midfielder’s arrival on their official Twitter handle.

“Oghenekaro Peter Etebo in Thessaloniki!, reads the tweet.

The Nigeria international is joining the former Greek Super League champions from Sky Bet Championship club, Stoke City.

Etebo spent last season on loan at Watford but his season was cut short by a cruciate ligament injury.

Meanwhile, the player has expressed his readiness to work with Aris manager, Alan Pardew.

“Of course, I know the coach as he was my opponent during my time in England. I’m looking forward to this collaboration and I think it’s going to go well,” Etebo told Gazzetta Greece.
