Emmanuel Dennis scored his seventh Premier League goal in Watford’s 2-1 loss to Frank Onyeka’s Brentford on Friday.

Watford collapsed after conceding two late goals to gift Brentford a comeback win and their second league victory in their last nine matches.

The Nigerian international notched in The Hornets’ opener in the twenty-fourth minute when he rose highest to head home a Tom Cleverly corner.

Only Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah is in a better form when it comes to goals and assists in the Premier League since the October international break.

Watford’s inability to find a second goal would cost them in the last ten minutes of the match as Brentford equalised with five minutes remaining thanks to Pontus Jansson who met a flicked on header at the back post.

And in the 95th minute, Super Eagles defender, William Troost-Ekong, gave a penalty away with a challenge on Saman Ghoddos.

Bryan Mbeumo converted from the penalty spot to give Brentford the dramatic win.

Also in action was Frank Onyeka, who came on with 13 minutes remaining in the game.

Watford have now lost their last four Premier League games, with 13 points and sadly, are firmly close to the relegation zone on the 17th position.

For Brentford, they climb up to ninth place on 20 points.
