Luis Sinisterra had give the visitors a early lead thanks to a brilliant teamwork in the final third which put the ball on a platter for the 22-year old Colombian forward.

Union Berlin responded as quick as possible just before half time through Christopher Trimmel who fired a wonderful effort from outside the box to the right hand post.

The duo of Taiwo Awoniyi and Cyriel Dessers was invited in the second half albeit separately. And after the changes from the Dutch visitors, they regained their composure and lead.

The win was Feyenoord’s third in four outings in the UEFA Europa Conference League, and they sit comfortably atop the Group E with ten points.
