Cristian Stellini presses for transfer of Leicester City’s James Maddison to Tottenham

Tottenham Hotspur head coach Cristian Stellini has expressed admiration for Leicester City and England international midfielder James Maddison.

Addressing reporters, Stellini praised the technical skill of the 26-year-old, noting his ability in taking set pieces and delivering crosses with great accuracy.

Spurs have been strongly linked to Maddison who is contracted to Leicester till June 2024, having already scored eight goals and provided four assists this season.

Antonio Conte returns to the Tottenham bench on Saturday when they take on Leicester City, following a gallbladder surgery he had previously undergone.
