Chelsea in talks with Tyler Adams’ representatives as Leeds exit looms

Chelsea are currently in talks with the representatives of Tyler Adams, the USA midfielder, as he looks set to leave Leeds.

Adams, who played for the USMNT in the 2022 World Cup, joined Leeds from RB Leipzig for £15m but was unable to prevent their relegation in his first season in the Premier League.

Chelsea have expressed interest in signing Adams and believe he would be a good fit for their midfield.

Leeds expect Adams to leave by the end of the month, and other Premier League clubs such as Tottenham, Liverpool, Manchester United, Brighton, and Brentford are also monitoring the situation.

Chelsea have already made some exciting signings this transfer window, but they are in need of reinforcements in midfield following the departures of Mason Mount, N’Golo Kante, and Ruben Loftus-Cheek.

Mauricio Pochettino, the Chelsea manager, has other options in midfield such as Lesley Ugochukwu, Enzo Fernandez, Conor Gallagher, and Andrey Santos.

Additionally, the club is also pursuing a deal for Moises Caicedo, but no agreement has been reached with Brighton yet.
