Burnley Ready To Face Aston Villa – Dyche
Burnley boss Sean Dyche says they’re in good shape for their clash with Aston Villa.
The Clarets travel to play Steven Gerrard’s Aston Villa side, as Burnley aim to return to winning ways in the Premier League.
Ahead of the fixture, Dyche is aware of the challenge that Burnley will face down in the Midlands, but he believes in his group.
The boss said: “We’re ready and prepared for it, we’ve got good experience levels, I’ll listen to my players’ and staff opinions, and we’ll try and stick to a process that I believe in.
“We’re performing better generally, I think we are just waiting for the attacking productivity in the attacking third to return, and I believe it will and it’s how we go about our business.
“We haven’t got as many points on the board as we would have liked, but there is a good and firm mentality in the group, and we know the challenges that are in front of us.
“Unfortunately, we’ve been hit with spells of injuries but generally speaking the performance levels have been decent, and it’s a platform to build on and we’ll continue to go in the right direction, but we have to go and do that.
“There are signs that things are going right for us through our resilience and our way of working. but you can’t just let it come your way, we have to go and earn it and work for it.”
