Nigeria forward Gift Orban continued his rich scoring for KAA Gent in the Belgian Pro League as he scored four times for his side in their 6-2 rout of Zulte Waregem on Sunday.
The 20-year-old became the first Gent player to score four goals in a Belgian Pro League game in the 21st century.
Defensive midfielder Julien De Sart opened the scoring for Gent in the 37th minute before Alessio Castro-Montes scored his side’s second goal in the 41st minute to hand them a two-goal cushion at the break.
Seven minutes into the second half, Zulte Waregem pulled one back through veteran defender Timothy Derijck before Orban took over.

The 20-year-old scored his first of the game straight from kick off as he latched onto a misplaced clearance from a Zulte Waregem defender before firing past the goalkeeper with his left foot to make it 3-1.
Experienced striker Jelle Vossen scored in the 65th minute to put Zulte Waregem back within one goal, but Orban scored a terrific free-kick from 25 yards after 68 minutes to complete his brace.
Orban scored his hat-trick in the 75th minute as he fired home from inside the box following a cutback from 17-year-old winger Malick Fofana.
He rounded off the scoring in the 83rd minute with another accomplished finish as he curled one home first-time from the edge of the box following a pass from Laurent Depoitre.
