Arsenal Eyeing Move for Man City’s Aymeric Laporte After Jurrien Timber’s Injury

After Jurrien Timber’s injury on his debut for Arsenal, the club is reportedly considering a move for Manchester City defender Aymeric Laporte.

Timber’s injury, coupled with rumors of Kieran Tierney potentially leaving the club, has increased the likelihood of Arsenal pursuing Laporte.

Journalist Fabrizio Romano has reported that Arsenal “appreciate” Laporte and discussions about a possible move are expected.

However, it is suggested that Manchester City may be reluctant to sell another player to Arsenal.

Laporte has previously worked with Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta during their time together at Manchester City, and Laporte has spoken highly of Arteta, describing him as a great coach and a person he had a good relationship with.
