Super Eagles midfielder, Joseph Aribo scored and made up for another as Rangers brushed aside Dundee United in the Scottish Premier League on Saturday.

The Gers are extended their lead at the summit of the log to a seven point lead under new manager, Giovanni Van Bronckhorst.

The hosts got off to a flying start at Ibrox with a goal from Joe Aribo.

The Nigeria international, who scored the winner when these sides met at Dens Park, showed his quick feet to get away from the Dundee defence and his shot finds its way into the back of the net thanks to a deflection off Liam Fontaine.

It would’ve been a brace for the Super Eagles star but for the intervention of Ryan Sweeney who knocked a teasing left foot cross from Aribo past his keeper to add to the tally of the Ibrox side.

Alfredo Morelos sealed the victory for Van Bronckhorst’s men after being played through by Arfield, and with the presence of three defenders around, the Colombian star was still able to put the ball past the goalkeeper.

Aribo, who had netted Rangers’ opener and got involved in the second goal was replaced with Juninho Bacuna seven minutes from time.
