Antonio Conte has reaffirmed his commitment to Tottenham despite recent rumours surrounding the Italian manager’s future.
After his side’s 1-0 win over Fulham, Conte praised his players for their tenacity and commitment and reiterated that he is ‘proud’ to be managing Spurs.
The match was won thanks to Harry Kane, who scored just before half-time despite the England captain battling flu-like symptoms in the week leading up.
Following the goal, which made him Tottenham’s all-time joint top goalscorer alongside Jimmy Greaves, Conte expressed his desire to help Kane win something meaningful with Spurs as a reward for all of his hard work.
He looked ahead to their FA Cup game against Preston North End on Saturday and stated that it would be an even greater achievement if Kane could break the record in a winning performance.
