Super Eagles and Everton midfielder, Alex Iwobi, has heaped praises on his boss, Frank Lampard, saying he’s happy with life under the former Chelsea boss at Everton.
Iwobi, who was in action for eighty-seven minutes during The Toffees’ 1-0 loss at home to Manchester City on Saturday, has improved since Frank Lampard replaced former boss Rafael Benitez.
The former Arsenal star was impressive in the game and got a warm reception from the Everton fans when he was replaced by Anwar El Ghazi two minutes from time.
While speaking with EvertonTV, The Nigerian international revealed that the former Chelsea boss has been supportive since he came to the club and he’s loving life under the Englishman.
“I’m happy with my performance and grateful for the reception I got from fans when I went off but we wanted the result our performance deserved,” The 25-year-old told Evertontv.
“We can be pleased with how we played, though.
“Personally, the manager’s support gives me the belief that I can go out and express myself and enjoy the games.
“It really helps me to show what I’ve got. It works for me and it. “He concluded.
