Al Nassr have confirmed that Cristiano Ronaldo has signed a two-year deal to join the Saudi Arabian club.
The 37-year-old made the move after his outspoken interview with Manchester United, expressing his dissatisfaction with Dutch manager Erik ten Hag and his feeling of betrayal by the Old Trafford side.
“I am eager to experience a new football league in a different country. Al Nassr Club’s vision is very inspiring,” the Saudi outfit quoted Ronaldo as saying.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner is no stranger to success, having won countless trophies throughout his major career at clubs such as Real Madrid, Juventus and Manchester United.
To name a few of his accomplishments, he collected two La Liga titles with Madrid, two Serie A titles and a Copa Italia with Juventus, as well as three Premier League crowns, the FA Cup and two League Cups with United.
On top of this, he made history by becoming the first player to win four Champions League titles and three Club World Cups.
