Former Nigerian midfielder, Sylvanus Okpala has revealed that he has confident in the technical capability of the Super Eagles interim coach, Austine Eguavoen to lead the team to glory in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations.
Okpala stated this in an interview with Brila FM, where he said that despite the injury problems with some of Super Eagles players, the team still has capable replacement for them.
He noted that Eguavoen’s experience will help shape up the team and make them formidable for the bi-annual tournament.
“I think Austine Eguavoen knows what to do because he has been part and parcel of the Super Eagles squad. He has been there and has been watching some of the players.
“No doubt, Eguavoen is a season coach and his experience will come to count at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations.”
