Ghana Won’t Stand As Stumbling Block For Eagles’ 2022 World Cup Ambition – Umar

Here Is The Easy Money-Making Trick Everyone Is Talking About! Learn More Here!

Super Eagles striker, Sadiq Umar has assured Nigerians that the team will do everything to ensure that they overcome the Black Stars of Ghana in the two-leg of the 2022 World Cup playoff.

The matches will be played between March 24 and 29, 2022 with exact dates and kick-off times to be confirmed after CAF liaises with the involved football associations.

Nigeria are seeking to qualify for the World Cup a seventh time and, since 1994, have missed only one of seven editions. The last of three appearances by Ghana was in 2014.

However, in an interview with Punch, Umar, who netted a goal in Nigeria’s 2-0 win over Guinea-Bissau in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations, stated that the Super Eagles are hungry and determined to deliver the World Cup ticket.

“The Eagles will be coming back with full energy and a lot of hunger. We want to give the country what it deserves. We will come back with full energy to face Ghana. We will not leave anything to chance at all, that I can assure Nigerians.”
