Shooting Stars head coach, Edith Agoye, has charged his players to adapt to the Nigeria Professional Football League as soon as possible.

The Oluyole Warriors are playing in Nigeria’s topflight league for the first time in a couple of years and kick-started their NPFL season with a barren draw against Gombe United last Sunday.

Shooting Stars will on Sunday host the defending champions of the NPFL, Akwa United at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba in Ibadan.

While speaking in preparation of the showdown against The Promise Keepers, Agoye noted that his boys have to adapt to the league quickly in order to get food results.

“First and foremost we need to adapt back into the NPFL and taking a point against Gombe United is a step in the right direction.”

“We are going home to face Akwa United, we will do our best to take 3 points so that gradually our team can evolve and stabilise,” he said.
