Kaizer Chiefs have unveiled Nigerian striker Etiosa Ighodaro as their latest addition, confirming he will wear the club’s No.50 shirt — www.isagoal.com reports.
According to the South African outlet The South African, the 24-year-old forward has already settled into the PSL, having played for multiple clubs since arriving in 2021.
Ighodaro has built a reputation as a sharp finisher, scoring 25 goals in 97 league matches across different loan spells.
Last season he featured for AmaZulu FC, where his speed and attacking instincts made him a reliable threat in the final third.
Kaizer Chiefs Sporting Director Kaizer Motaung Jr. welcomed the player with heartfelt words, saying: “We warmly welcome Etiosa into the Kaizer Chiefs family.”
He added, “His passion, work rate and dedication will surely add to the team this season and beyond.”
Motaung also stressed the emotional connection fans should expect, promising, “We look forward to creating unforgettable moments together in the Gold & Black colours of the Glamour Boys.”
