It has been reported that Graham Potter must get positive results from his next two games or risk being sacked from Chelsea.
This is especially pertinent as the Blues have only won two of their last fifteen matches across all competitions, leaving the future of top-four hopes, Champions League dreams and even an FA Cup push in question.
Former Tottenham player Jamie O’Hara made predictions before the Spurs game saying Potter had three games to deliver but now it’s been reduced to just two.
Ex-Chelsea and Spurs manager Gus Poyet even feels Potter could be axed as soon as he fails to win any game.
Responding to a growing amount of pressure, Potter himself stated while wishing for better performances:
“We are not only depending on the way we work, and our relationships and results, but also maintaining the publicity around yourself and the team…you have to win.”
