2022 World Cup Qualifier: Ghana ponder Kumasi Stadium for a crucial playoff against Nigeria

Published:

The Ghana Football Association and the National Sports Authority are considering moving the Black Stars’ crucial World Cup qualifier play-offs against Nigeria to Kumasi.

The Black Stars will host the Super Eagles in the first leg on March 21 in Ghana, before the second leg seven days later in Nigeria.

However, after playing all home games in the group stages in Cape coast, the F.A is understood to be considering shifting the game to Kumasi.

The winner of the two-legged game will progress to the FIFA World Cup in Qatar 2022.
