Mikel Arteta has admitted Arsenal does not have the title-winning capacity of Manchester City yet.
Following their 3-2 win over Liverpool on Sunday, the Gunners moved back to the top of the Premier League.
And right now, Arteta’s men now have 24 points, one more than Pep Guardiola‘s Manchester City, who are the defending champions.
The Arsenal manager has, however, cooled any talk of Gunners ending their near two-decade wait for a title due to the current dominance of Man City.
When asked if his team are ready to challenge the reigning champions by Sky Sports, Arteta replied: “They [Man City] are really strong, they have done that for five years and we have not done that.”
Arsenal will travel to Leeds United next in the EPL, while Manchester City will be hosted by Liverpool.
