Dusan Vlahovic is ready to take a major pay cut to seal a move to AC Milan this summer – www.isagoal.com reports.
The Serbian forward earns around €12m a year at Juventus but has told his camp he is open to dropping that figure by half in order to wear the Milan shirt.
Calciomercato.com revealed that Vlahovic is willing to accept €6m plus performance bonuses on a four-year deal, with earnings potentially climbing to €7.5m.
Juventus, who initially valued him at €20m, are now open to negotiating at a lower fee as they target French striker Randal Kolo Muani.
Milan boss Massimiliano Allegri has pressed the board for a proven goalscorer, stressing in talks with sporting director Igli Tare that a new striker is urgent.
While the Rossoneri are also in talks for Sporting Lisbon’s Conrad Harder, Allegri has made it clear he prefers to reunite with Vlahovic.
The two worked together at Juventus, and Allegri believes the 25-year-old can bring immediate impact and leadership to Milan’s attack.
Vlahovic has already taken the first step by showing flexibility on wages, but Milan have yet to make an official move.
For now, the striker’s future hangs between a discounted Milan deal and Juventus’ push to free funds for fresh arrivals.
