Tottenham Hotspur is reportedly considering a surprising move for Arsenal striker Folarin Balogun.
This comes after the departure of Harry Kane to Bayern Munich, leaving a gap in Tottenham’s attack.
While they have already signed young striker Alejo Veliz, new manager Ange Postecoglou is eager to add more firepower to the team before the transfer window closes.
Balogun is one of the options being considered by Tottenham to replace Kane.
The 22-year-old, who had a successful loan spell at Stade de Reims with 22 goals and three assists in 39 appearances, is a USA international.
Balogun’s contract with Arsenal is set to run until June 2025, but he has expressed his desire to avoid going on loan again and is open to a permanent move this summer.
His performances have also caught the attention of Inter Milan, who see him as a potential replacement for Romelu Lukaku.
