Victor Osimhen set a new record as the top African scorer in Serie A after netting in Napoli’s 1-0 win against Fiorentina on Sunday.
Osimhen equaled Weah’s 46-goal mark after scoring in Napoli’s 1-1 draw at Udinese in midweek.
The Nigeria international fired home from spot in the second half to set a new record of 47 goals.

The 24-year-old earlier missed from the spot.
Osimhen has now 23 goals in 28 league appearances this season.
He is also in contention to win the highest goal scorer honour in the Italian top-flight.
