Former Manchester United captain Roy Keane did not hold back in his assessment of the team’s performance during their 7-0 defeat against Liverpool.
In particular, Keane singled out captain Bruno Fernandes and defender Luke Shaw for criticism, calling Fernandes’ body language “disgraceful” and expressing his disappointment in senior players who showed little leadership on the pitch.
Keane also remarked on the shocking goals given away by the team and highlighted their embarrassing performance overall.
He further criticized Shaw’s defending during the match.
While acknowledging that United has top international players and experienced veterans, Keane emphasized that they were ultimately responsible for letting down the team and their fans.
Despite the devastating loss, Keane urged the team to bounce back and improve in future matches.
