Rodri Makes History as First Manchester City Player to Win Ballon d’Or

Here Is The Easy Money-Making Trick Everyone Is Talking About! Learn More Here!

Manchester City midfielder Rodri was named the best footballer at the men’s Ballon d’Or ceremony in Paris, surpassing Real Madrid’s Vinicius Junior, Dani Carvajal, and Jude Bellingham.

The Spanish giants responded to Rodri’s win by claiming that “the Ballon d’Or does not respect Real Madrid” and chose to boycott the event.

Rodri played a crucial role in Spain’s success at Euro 2024 and helped Manchester City secure their fourth consecutive Premier League title.

He is also the first player from Manchester City to win the award.

Despite a season-ending knee ligament injury that left him on crutches, Rodri delivered a heartfelt speech in Spanish, thanking various supporters, including his girlfriend Laura, his family, and his teammates.

Prior to the ceremony, Real Madrid indicated their displeasure by canceling their delegation’s trip to Paris.

The club issued a statement suggesting that if the award criteria did not favor Vinicius, then Carvajal should have won instead.

They concluded that the Ballon d’Or does not respect their club.
