Richarlison is reportedly facing legal troubles after his former personal assistant, Reginaldo Pereira, filed a lawsuit against him.
Pereira claims that Richarlison terminated him abruptly while he was in the footballer’s luxury mansion in Barnet, north London, leading to significant emotional and financial distress, including the end of his marriage.
Pereira had supported the Brazilian since his move to England and says he was dismissed without warning and had to seek medical treatment due to the negative impact of the work environment.
He is now seeking £95,000 in compensation.
Pereira accuses the 27-year-old of failing to register him as an employee, paying him £500 per week in cash without providing paid holidays or other benefits.
The claims also include long working hours, excessive demands, and verbal abuse, particularly from Richarlison’s father, Antonio Marcos de Andrade.
Additionally, Pereira says he was required to perform duties beyond his official responsibilities, such as caring for Richarlison’s pets.
The preliminary hearing for this legal dispute is set to take place next month in Watford.
Meanwhile, Richarlison has denied these allegations through a spokesperson.
