Barcelona have finalized a loan agreement to sign Marcus Rashford from Manchester United, with a €30 million buy option set for June 2026, Isagoal can report.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Barcelona will pay Rashford’s full salary — a gross package of €14 million including bonuses — while Manchester United won’t contribute.
The 27-year-old has accepted a 15% pay cut to join the Catalan side, with additional bonuses tied to appearances written into the contract.
Barça had initially agreed to a €35 million option, but Romano clarified the final figure is €30 million, lowering the long-term financial risk.
All required documents are now signed, and Rashford is expected to arrive in Spain soon for his medical and to join the squad.
He will also travel with the team to Asia for their pre-season tour, giving fans a first glimpse of how he fits into Hansi Flick’s system.
This deal provides Barcelona with flexibility — they can walk away if things don’t work, or secure Rashford at a reduced fee if he thrives.
With their current financial limits, Barcelona’s front office appears to have pulled off a practical, low-risk move for a proven Premier League talent.
