Paris Saint-Germain have officially signed Super Falcons star Rasheedat Ajibade on a two-year contract, adding fresh firepower to their attack — www.isagoal.com reports.
According to Vanguard, the 24-year-old forward made the switch from Atlético de Madrid, where she ended her spell last season.
Ajibade expressed her excitement, saying, “I’m honoured to join a great European club like PSG, and I’m ready to give my best to help the team chase trophies and motivate young footballers across the world.”
Her arrival boosts PSG’s ambition to reclaim the French women’s league crown, a title they last lifted in 2021.
Ajibade now teams up with fellow Nigerian international Jennifer Echegini, strengthening the Paris squad ahead of the new campaign.
She was Nigeria’s standout performer at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, where she guided the Super Falcons to their 10th title.
