The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has confirmed that talks are ongoing with Super Eagles head coach, Jose Peseiro over a new contract.
Peseiro’s previous contract with the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) ended last month.
The Portuguese have been reportedly offered a pay cut to remain in charge of the three-time African champions.
The former Saudi Arabia and Venezuela coach is also said to be willing to accept the fresh condition.

Technical director of the NFF, Austine Eguavoen how hinted that remains in charge of the Super Eagles.
*At the moment he is in charge, we are discussing in-house and we are giving him conditions as well,” Eguavoen told
reporters at the end of the first FIFA Instructor’s Course held in Abuja.
“We are flexible, so it could be suitable for both sides and once we reach a common ground, why not?.
“We would invite him and once we agree and we arrive at a common ground, we would be flexible and we also want him to be flexible with us.
“Contract or no contract, he is a human being and he is still the coach of the national team as it is.”
