Victor Osimhen has entered elite company as the tenth most expensive player ever in terms of combined transfer fees — www.isagoal.com reports.
Napoli has agreed to part ways with the Nigerian striker after receiving a €75 million offer from Galatasaray, according to report.
The deal includes a €40 million initial payment, followed by €35 million to be settled in staggered payments over the next 12 months.
With this move, Osimhen’s career transfer tally has reached €183.3 million.
He first made headlines after his 2015 U-17 World Cup Golden Boot win, leading to a €3.5 million move from Ultimate Strikers Academy to Wolfsburg.
Charleroi paid the same figure to sign him permanently following his loan spell, later selling him to Lille for €22.4 million.
Napoli then made a major splash in 2020, securing his signature from Lille for €78.9 million.
His latest switch to the Turkish champions pushes him above Coutinho, Mbappé, Di María, and Ibrahimović on the all-time fee chart.
“Osimhen’s journey is a reflection of steady progress and smart investments,” Transfermarkt data shows.
He’s now valued higher than several former Chelsea players, including Enzo Fernández, Eden Hazard, and Kai Havertz.
