Chiemela Ude has extended her Arsenal contract, committing to the club until the end of the 2026–2027 season – www.isagoal.com reports.
The England-born Nigerian goalkeeper has also been promoted to the U21 squad ahead of the new campaign.
Reports confirm she travelled with the team to their pre-season camp in Kamloops, Canada.
Her decision follows the departure of Nigerian duo Ayomide and Omotara Junaid from the club.
Announcing the news on Instagram, Ude wrote, “Proud to be part of the team and ready to keep pushing, learning, and growing.”
She played a role in Arsenal’s Capital Women’s Senior Cup triumph last season.
The 2008-born shot-stopper also featured in the FA PGA Champions Cup.
Ude joined Arsenal in 2021 after interest from Chelsea, West Ham, and Millwall.
She is provisionally cap-tied to England after playing in a UEFA Women’s U17 Championship qualifier against the Faroe Islands in 2024.
